The Fabric Source

The Fabric Source is the first Nordic sustainable fabric platform, created for the fashion- and textile industry. The project is a unique joint initiative lead by the Danish Fashion Institute (DAFI), under Nordic Initiative, Clean and Ethical (NICE) in close collaboration with leading partners within the textile industry, such as C.L.A.S.S., Le Souk, Better Cotton Initiative and Sustainable Apparel Coalition.

The Fabric Source was granted funding during autumn 2013 from the Green Fund for Business Development under the Danish Business Authority.


Tuesdays and Thursdays: you can book an one hour free sourcing. One hour consultancy: 350 DKK.
Special bookings and Bookings Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 700 DDK, this includes 30 minutes consultancy and 1,5 hours sourcing.
Members of Danish Fashion Institute and Nordic Fashion Association gets 25% discount.

Students
Students who want to visit The Fabric Source are requested to talk to their teacher about the possibility of arranging a visit possibly combined with a talk or a workshop with Suzi Christoffersen, external consultant and expert on materials and sustainability in The Fabric Source. The fee will depend on the set-up chosen for the visit.
